For 4 servings:
9 tablespoons slightly salted butter
2 eggs
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
¾ tablespoon honey
½ cup flour
3 tablespoons ground almonds
1/3 tablespoon baking powder
natural vanilla extract

Fry the butter until it turns brown.

Gently beat together the egg, the sugar, the salt and the honey in a mixing bowl. Add the natural vanilla extract.

Sieve the flour and gently stir the flour, the ground almond and the baking powder into the mixture.

Add the melted butter and mix thoroughly.

Leave to stand 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.

Pour the mixture into greased cake pans and cook in an oven preheated to 180°C/350° F for 15-20 minutes, depending on your oven.
