For 8 servings:
1/3 lb chorizo sausage
½ cup shredded cheese
1 large egg
1 sheet puff pastry

Mix together the chorizo sausage and the grated cheese. Mix in a beaten egg.

Spread the mixture on the rolled out pastry.

Roll the pastry into a sausage shape and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

After refrigeration, cut the roll into slices, each approximately ½ inch in width. Place the slices on a sheet of parchment paper on an oven tray and put in the oven to brown.

This recipe is just as tasty if you replace the chorizo with a log of goats cheese. In this case, you would only need to add half the amount of shredded cheese.
