Another way of cooking endives! "

For 4 servings:
8 endives
4 slices of cooked ham
2 shallots
salt and pepper
nutmeg
10 oz peeled tomatoes (cooked)
1 (4oz) log of goat's cheese
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

Wash the endives and remove any rotten leaves. Steam the endives for approximately 15 minutes. Peel and finely chop the shallots.

Grease an oven dish. Thinly slice 4 of the endives and spread them over the bottom of the dish.

Roll the other 4 endives in the slices of ham and place them in the dish. Cover with the peeled tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with nutmeg. Next, add the shallots.

Slice the goat's chese and lay the slices over the top of the dish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Cook in a hot oven for about 20 minutes.

As soon as the topping begins to brown, remove from the oven and serve.
